New Fellowships Announced
The Center for Faculty Development will support two CFD Faculty Fellows for Spring 2026 to facilitate faculty training and programming related to artificial intelligence.
Advancing Teaching Excellence Grants
The Center for Faculty Development, sponsored by the Office of the Provost, announces Advancing Teaching Excellence Grants that provide funding of up to $2,000.

Because faculty eBook and courseware needs are unique to each course, the CFD is building a Resource page dedicated to helping faculty navigate this information. The current USM publisher representatives are listed on that page, and they are the points of contact for courseware questions and its integration with Canvas.
Artificial Intelligence Training Available
This spring, several AI training courses are available from the University and the Mississippi Artificial Intelligence Network ().
A badge for each course will be awarded in Canvas for the satisfactory completion of course work with a 70% or higher on quizzes and a "Completion" mark for written discussion responses. Written discussion responses must show thoughtful content addressing the question(s). Registration for and completion of these courses is on a voluntary, self-paced basis. No fee is attached.
